The Alabama Poison Center is located on the Shelton State Community College campus.

 

 

The Alabama Poison Center (APC) is a statewide poison center providing emergency poison management to Alabama residents and their health care providers. Certified as a regional poison center by the American Association of Poison Control Centers, the APC provides 24-hour, 7 days a week telephone assistance in emergency situations and promotes poison prevention through a variety of educational programs.
