Train the Trainer Program

Educating the citizens in Alabama about simple, easy-to-follow steps to poison prevention is an awsome task. The Alabama Poison Center needs your help. Our ultimate goal is to have at least one poison prevention trainer in every community in the state. The job of poison prevention is never done. There are always going to be new parents, new grandparents, and children of all ages. Most are eager to know what they can do to prevent a poison hazard.

The Alabama Poison Center is seeking individuals interested in becoming a Poison Prevention Provider in your community. No prior knowledge or skills are needed. Individuals will receive training from a certified poison information specialist from thet APC. Educational materials to use in poison prevention presentations will be made available.
