Calls to the Alabama Poison Center
All calls to the Poison Center are documented on an
electronic medical record. These records are maintained by
the Alabama Poison Center and used only to treat the person
or animal exposed to a poisonous or nonpoisonous

are then translated into the information required for

United States. This data is used to analyze the development
of prevention and awareness strategies.
