Educational Programs

The Alabama Poison Center offers educational programs to professional
and nonprofessional groups throughout the state of Alabama.
Formal programs are presented upon request. Past audiences
have included preschoolers, school age groups, parents and
grandparents, civic groups, senior citizens, and health care
professionals. Examples of educational programs have included:
poison prevention, seasonal poisonings,' look alikes', biological
and chemical warfare agents, and current developments in clinical
toxicology.
Program presenters are either the Medical Director, Director,
or Education Coordinator. If you are interested in scheduling
a program related to poison prevention, a specific toxic
substances, poison management protocols, or other related
